Welcome! 

My name is Jordin David, and I am a fine-art painter, muralist, and teacher. My art is not only a reflection of my inspirations, but also a personal map for navigating past trauma and understanding my present reality. The act of creating is the vehicle that allows me to lean into my curiosity as I move forward with life. I'll be putting paint on walls and in students' hands for as long as I can.

 I was born and raised in Thousand Oaks, California, and currently reside in San Diego. I graduated from San Diego State University with my Bachelor of Fine Art, with an emphasis in Studio Art. In the spring of 2018, I continued my figurative art studies in Florence, Italy. Since graduating from SDSU in May 2019, my work has been displayed at art shows, festivals, bars, and galleries from Southern California to Milan.

I painted my first mural in 2020, and by 2021, co-founded Pursuit Of Paint with my friend, brother, and business partner, Sean Curtis. Together we made murals all over North Park, San Diego; committed to our Neighborhood Beautification Project. Since losing Sean in June of 2022, Pursuit of Paint is dedicated to the legacy of Sean "Saniac" Curtis, and his instinct to "Put Paint Where It Ain't!"
