I rarely wrote in a diary, but my fuzzy pink sketchbook never left my side. Drawing began as a hobby that could fulfill school credits, but eventually it would be what carried me as an art major. Although my sense for the human body has developed from the guidance of my two incredible teachers, I’d like to consider myself a self-taught drawer outside of the figurative realm. I modestly started with colored pencils, but pastels introduced a richer, more saturated ambiance that better embodied my passion.
